Our ClearView resins are all-purpose and can be used to repair all types of chips and cracks. However, each resin has a unique set of characteristics that makes it the ideal resin for its specialty application. For best results, we recommend using each resin for its specific type of stone chip or crack repair.
The four main types of resins that we recommend give you the best results for the particular break you are working on. They are Thin Resin, Thick Resin, Pit Filler and Crack Resin.
We suggest using each resin for its unique special purpose:
Thin Resin -use on any general stone chip.
Thick Resin -use mainly on longer legs of combination breaks and cracks.
Crack Resin -use exclusively on any type of crack repair.
Pit Filler -since pit filler is quite thick, it should be used mainly for finishing a repair, but it can also be used to build up an oversized impact point.
